By using lancerbill.com (“the site”) and its tools, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
What the site provides
LancerBill provides free online calculators, converters and document generators for freelancers and small businesses. All tools are provided for general information and planning purposes.
The tools provide estimates, not advice. Calculations, generated documents and explanatory content are for guidance only and do not constitute financial, tax, legal or accounting advice. Always verify important figures against official sources and consult a qualified professional before making decisions.
Acceptable use
You agree to use the site lawfully and honestly. In particular:
- Use the document generators (invoices, quotes, receipts) only for genuine transactions. Creating documents for payments that never occurred, or misrepresenting amounts, parties or dates, is fraud.
- Do not attempt to disrupt the site, probe its infrastructure, or misrepresent the tools as professional advice to third parties.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of anything you enter and for how you use the outputs — including compliance with your country’s invoicing, tax and record-keeping rules.
No warranty
The site and its tools are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that:
- calculations are error-free or suitable for any particular purpose;
- tax rates, thresholds and statutory figures are current (each tax page carries a review date — verify before relying on figures);
- the site will be available uninterrupted.
Tax law changes. Rates on our pages were last reviewed in October 2026 unless stated otherwise. Before filing a return, issuing a tax invoice or taking action based on a calculation, confirm the current position with the relevant authority.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LancerBill is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of (or inability to use) the site, including financial decisions made on the basis of tool outputs. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Browser-local processing
Our tools process your inputs locally in your browser. We do not store your data and cannot recover it for you. You are responsible for saving and backing up any documents or records you generate. See the privacy policy for detail.
Intellectual property
The site’s content, tools and design are owned by LancerBill. You may use the tools and download documents you generate for your own business purposes. You may not copy, republish or redistribute substantial parts of the site’s content without permission.
